Driving to Deer Horn Lodge

Not much appears to have changed since the last time we were up here two years ago.

Driving from Mont-Laurier to Deer Horn Lodge is always exciting, though.

Getting there is a little tedious.

Arrived at the turn off to the road to Deer Horn Lodge around 10 AM in the morning,

only to discover that one of the boat bunkers fell off somewhere along the way.

At least we still have our license plate! A few years back it fell off somewhere on the highway.

29 KM on the Rock Road to go, ugh.

This is the most dreaded part of the trip.

It's the only way and it's 18 miles of pure hell.
